The WINCOO Standard Series is a purpose-built vertical welding system for fabricating the longitudinal seams of large aboveground storage tanks (ASTs). Utilizing the Electrogas Welding process, it creates high-integrity, single-pass welds in thick plate (typically 9-40mm) with exceptional deposition rates. The system operates vertically upwards using sliding copper shoes to contain the molten weld pool and shielding gas, ensuring X-ray quality joints for critical storage applications like oil, chemicals, and water tanks compliant with API 650/653 standards.
